How to define report templates

Report templates allow users to download information about their product to be shared with other parties.

Users in Pilario have the ability to create report templates to generate reports for one or several products and share with other parties out of Pilario. Federations can take advantage of this feature to provide standard templates to their members.

Please note that the definition of custom report templates is only available on Professional and Enterprise licence. Read more in our plans page.

In order to define custom report templates, you should go to your settings page, and inside there, in the Data section, the Report templates item.

There, you should create a new template via the Add template button in the upper right corner, and fill the following information:

  • Name: the name of the template that will be displayed in the available list of templates when generating a report.
  • Model: the template will only be available for the products created using this model.
  • File: the template file that you want to use, Pilario uses the docxtemplater library.
  • Data: the data that you want to feed the template with.
