      How to run RangeLCA?

      Discover the different steps on how to install and run RangeLCA

      Download OpenWebStart

      Download and install OpenWebStart, click on the link to download OpenWebStart. This is an essential tool that enables RangeLCA to run smoothly on your computer and to check on updates on every startup of the application.


      Choose the Correct Version

      Knowledge base - RangeLCA2Select the latest version of OpenWebStart that is compatible with your operating system (Windows). Make sure to choose the correct version to ensure compatibility.

      Install OpenWebStart

      Launch the downloaded installer. You will be guided through the installation process via on-screen prompts. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure a successful installation of OpenWebStart.

      Download startup file to open RangeLCA


      Download the startup file (right click -> save link as...) and store it on your Desktop.

      Launch RangeLCA 

      Click on desktop icon “RangeLCA.vbs” to launch the application. This should automatically prompt OpenWebStart to run the application. If it doesn't open automatically, you need to manually choose OpenWebStart as the program to run RangeLCA.

      During the initial launch OpenWebStart will ask you if you trust Pilario as a Publisher:


      Select "Always trust content from the publisher" and press "Run"

      The next step is to trust the permissions of the application because the application has read/write permissions on your local disk. 

      Select Remember the option? and press "yes"

      Login

      When you open the application the first time, you need to login:
      1. Go to the 'File' Menu
      2. Click on Preferences

      3. Select the Galaxy tab

      4. Enter your username / password
      5. Close the application
      6. Open the application again and you will see your first/lastname in the footer of the application
