Step 2: Invite a New User

Once you're in the "Team Members" section, you'll see an option to "Invite Team Member." Click this button to begin the process.

You'll need to provide some basic information about your new team member: their First Name, Last Name, and Email.

2. Understanding Permissions

Pilario offers a flexible permissions system tailored to your team's needs. Permissions can be adjusted in several components: Licenses, Products, Dashboards, Users, Feeds, and the Share Functionality.

Permission Categories

Permissions are divided into three main categories:
  1. Read: Have permission to only view the data.
  2. Write: Have permission to add or edit data.
  3. Delete: Have the permission to delete certain data.

These categories ensure that team members have the access they need to perform their roles effectively while maintaining data integrity and security.

3. Changing User Permissions

Although permissions are initially assigned when inviting a team member, you may find the need to adjust these settings as roles evolve or new needs arise.

How to Adjust Permissions

  1. Navigate to User Management:
Go to your user profile, then settings, and select "Team Members."
  2. Select the Team Member:
Find the team member whose permissions you wish to adjust and click on their profile
  3. Adjust Permissions:
From here, you can modify their permissions to better suit their current role and responsibilities.
